What is a subaccount?

A subaccount is a secondary and optional email ID under the owner’s primary email ID. Only the owner of an AT&T primary email ID can make subaccounts in his ID. The limit of subaccounts in an AT&T email ID is 20.

After you make a subaccount you can’t delete them but you can disable them. With the help of subaccounts, the subaccount user can manage phone features, get product support, and chat with an agent. To know more about an AT&T subaccount you can call on the AT&T customer support number.

How to create subaccounts?

  • Open the web browser and go to the official website of AT&T.
  • Go to profile and choose Account users.
  • If you use more than one account choose the account you want to manage.
  • Click on My account, enter your credentials and sign in your account.
  • Select manage subaccount users.
  • Select add a subaccount.
  • Read the terms and conditions and Accept.
  • Enter all the information about the new subaccount and select save.

Note: If you are a user of a free AT&T email account and you are not an AT&T internet or DSL consumer then you can’t make subaccounts in your AT&T email account.

How to disable or enable a subaccount?

  • Sign in into your AT&T email account.
  • Go to profile and choose account users.
  • If you have more than one account choose the account you want to manage.
  • Select manage account users.
  • Next, to the subaccount, you want to disable or enable you will see Enable or disable sign.
  • Click on disable/enable.

How to edit a subaccount?

  • Sign in into your AT&T email account.
  • Go to profile and choose Account users.
  • If you use more than one account choose the account you want to manage.
  • Select manage accounts.
  • Next, to the account, you want to edit you will see an edit sign, click on that.
  • Change or edit all the details you want to change in that subaccount.
